Inhospitable.I look in the mirror; what do I see?
A misfit, an outcast - I see nothing
Looking at this face that couldn't be me
The reflection follows; it's not bluffing
I hold up my hand, place it near my breast
I can feel my heart beat ever so strong
In this body, I swear I'm just a guest
And I hate it - why doesn't it feel wrong?
I must discover who I really am
Before this life comes to its conclusion
I feel as helpless as a newborn lamb
In the midst of this mental confusion
I will surely find out one of these days
So my life will no longer seem a maze.
Masquerade.Slather; splatter; spread it on,
Rub in the liquid until it is "gone."
Every time I hide my face,
My true beauty seems to erase.
Awake.I loved that girl; she was my twin
On the surface - peace - but behind that grin
There was something more, something deep
No one knew when she went to "sleep"
She would cry until her eyes got sore
'Til the day she couldn't take any more.
Her ex had remained fresh in her mind
Not knowing her death warrant he had signed
Were the two simple words he'd said to her
That stuck in her brain: "It's over."
I didn't think that would break our bond
Sisterly love goes above and beyond
But now she's gone; thoughts won't erase
I just hope she's in a better place.
Taking Things To HeartTaking Things to Heart.

Have you ever had the same problem critics?
Telling you your faults, forcing you to admit it?
Analysing your work till the point you wish you never did it?

Then forming and basing judgements on their observations.
Criticisms are hard to accept regardless of the relation.
Your first natural instinct is to defend your work through conversation.

It's not that their criticisms are not valid.
Sometimes I just take it as their refusing my talent.
This causes me to feel less confident and slightly off balance.

I respect any opinion that anyone has to offer.
Sometimes I just take it as if I'm being told of by my mo
PrideAs my eyes explore the sky,

I wonder how it is you lie.

In such a masterpiece the world complies,

I wonder if you've ever smiled.

For merely hate falls from your lips,

Disgusting dark vile is all that drips.

Hate and happiness cannot coexist,

Not even in the delusions you twist.

So why can't you just let things be,

The world won't live by your decree.

When all you do is throw a fit,

No wonder filth is all you emit.

I'll keep my minds fixed in the clouds,

I'll carry on smiling proud.

Maybe one day you'll grow bored,

Finding your actions go on ignored.

And if they catch an ounce of attention,

You'll only be met by pure dissensi
My biggest fearI would like to tell you my dear
That I don't have any fear
But that's not what I feel inside
It's something I'd rather hide

Because if once told
My heart turns cold
With fear for you
and what you would do

The thing I fear about
without any single doubt
is my own depressed mind
and what I would find

Deep inside, my scariest thought
which I would have caught
My fear is to think and dream
Happy outside it would seem

My fear is not what really did happen
No, my own thoughts are the weapon
Of what the world could do
With my family and with you

It's not the actual action
That's just a small fraction
It's the thought that I co
Not Doing So WellIf you care to listen, I have a story to tell.
It's about a girl who's not doing so well.
As hard as she tries, she's still not sleeping.
It's because of the monsters insider her, creeping.
Her life is beginning to look quite grim,
she's poisoned rotten from within.
She's always tired and sick of trying,
and more than once she's thought of dying.
She's always smiling, but you can tell,
her eyes will tell you she's going through hell.

If you care to listen, I have a story to tell.
It's about a girl who's not doing so well.
Her arms are thin, her legs are small,
but that's not what she sees at all.
She's not happy with the skin s

No one to blame
No more sadness
No more madness
No more life gone insane
Only happiness, and gladness

There are no more, no mores
I want to be stupidIt's better to be stupid,
Than know how much you suck,
It's better to be stupid,
And not give a flying fuck
Destruction.I shan't have another dream, hope, or desire;
Everything was lost and killed in the fire.
The past has consumed the life of today,
And there aren't any tears for the things that I say.
I don't care much if I live or die,
For death would be better than living a lie.
The fire still rages way out of control;
Burning my heart, my mind, and my soul.
Myself is something I should reconstruct,
Yet all I want is to self-destruct.
Heart, Soul, MindA heart needs to dance
A soul needs to fly
A mind needs to flourish
The question is why

The heart for the sense
The soul for the rest
The mind is for thinking
Synced in one chest

The heart with the rest
The soul and the mind
Thoughts go with sense
Apart yet intertwined

Coming down on you?
Do you feel its warmth
Whispering to you?
Would you hold it tight?
Wondering in the light
Help me on my way
Find another day.

Take me by my hand.
Time mirrors life's sand.
Is it into you?
Why do you feel blue?
Tell me what you think
When you see the sun
Dissipating night
Let's just sing out loud!

Summer hits us hard
And we don't react
Standing tall with pride
There's no need to fight.
I can smell the heat
You can hear the chimes
Summer's here it seems
It's all in these lines.

Do you have a clue?
I will sing with you
We are all just fine
Into summertime!
This time it seems ri
Memories"In pain I'm dying inside"
My poem stands tall line by line
This night shall wait for my tide
The sorrow's empty and all mine.
- I'm fine.

This moment we're at,
It will never come back.
It is time to kiss and pat.
Loving still, stalking the pack.
- memories intact.

This memory's lanes are doom.
All the way to the green moon.
The curtain's poisonous boom
Shall reach me soon, soon.
- in the shallow night's gloom.

My poem lost in every line.
Here alone I try and whine
I try to reach out for a sign…

when you do sing to me
i die in aching bliss
a sponge tasting water after so much drought
i swell up greedily taking all i can get from you
till i simply can't anymore

shut my world off
all i am its what you are to me
and these mere moments are
priceless

this is our love song
even before i knew
the thought of you
at unholy hours in lamplight aglow
fingers trembling and grazed
guitar at hand
tuning and turning and twisting
molding your adoration into form
trying ever so hard in order to make

The End.I gazed into it,
Dark and deep;
The hole seeming endless
As I started to weep.
What was my life?
What had I become?
I knew this was coming
From when I was fecund.
I didn't want this;
No, not now,
Especially since
I had taken a vow.
A vow of abstinence;

But I, in fact,
Fell for his lure...

You were my life;
My world;

Now on my heart

It's a large mark;
A break, you see,
That's slowly dominating

Not knowing that

Betrayal.Most stories begin
With a lass and a lad;
The ending always being
The opposite of sad.
But for the occasional tale,
We must make an exception;
For often the main theme
Is not love,
But deception.
